TBS-600 is a high-carbon, chromium-molybdenum alloy steel having high tensile and fatigue strength, good toughness and good wear resistance. It is suitable for service at temperatures up to 600 F. It is specifically intended for anti-friction bearings, but it may also be used for jet engine and rocket components.
