Since 1952, Alloy Digest has been the leading reference for materials property data on metals and alloys used throughout the world. Featuring graphs, charts and tables, these sheets give facts and figures on composition or characterization, physical and mechanical properties, heat treatment, and machinability.

TUF-COR 1 WELDING ELECTRODE was designed for general-purpose welding of mild steel. It can produce spatter-free, well-contoured welds in the horizontal position and in the flat position. Tuf-Cor 1 is specially formulated to produce spray-like metal transfer and multi-pass capabilities which allow the versatility of using one electrode diameter to weld many plate thicknesses that normally would require two or more diameters. It is used to deposit typically 1.55% manganese steel weld metal that is tough and has a tensile strength of typically 87,000 psi. The shielding gas is carbon dioxide.
