Since 1952, Alloy Digest has been the leading reference for materials property data on metals and alloys used throughout the world. Featuring graphs, charts and tables, these sheets give facts and figures on composition or characterization, physical and mechanical properties, heat treatment, and machinability.

AISI 4032 is a molybdenum alloy steel of moderate hardenability. It is used extensively in the automotive industry. This steel combines moderate strength and hardness with good ductility and toughness in the quenched-and-tempered condition because it is relatively free from temper embrittlement when tempered in the range 850-1100 F. Among its many uses are nuts, bolts, studs, machinery parts and fasteners for the transportation and other industries. AISI 4032H is a similar steel except that it has a slightly wider range of carbon and manganese.
