View Sample Alloy Digest Data Sheet (PDF) Since 1952, Alloy Digest has been the leading reference for materials property data on metals and alloys used throughout the world. Featuring graphs, charts and tables, these sheets give facts and figures on composition or characterization, physical and mechanical properties, heat treatment, and machinability.
In the powder production process used to make Ancorsteel, molten steel is atomized into irregular, homogeneous particles which are then annealed to produce the uniform, dependable steel powders designated as Ancorsteel. Ancorsteel grades are designed for P/M parts requiring densities exceeding 6700 kg/m3 (0.241 lb/in.3). Ancorsteel 150 HP is a good base powder for a wide range of hybrid alloy systems. Ancorloy DH-1 is a hybrid alloy based on Ancorsteel 150 HP to which 2% w/o copper has been added.
