The 16-25-6* alloy developed by the Timken Roller Bearing Company, Steel and Tube Division, is a nonmagnetic, austenitic, corrosion and heat resistant steel having high creep resistance at elevated temperatures and good corrosion and oxidation resistance. It age-hardens at elevated temperatures after solution quenching, and possesses very high mechanical properties.
