VDM 330 (Nicrofer 3718) is an austenitic iron-nickel-chromium-silicon alloy with good high-temperature strength and good resistance to carburization, thermal shock, and high temperature oxidation. It is used extensively in high-temperature environments where resistance to the combined effects of thermal cycling and carburization is required.
