Special Genco is a hardenable 12% chromium stainless steel developed for applications requiring superior strength to Type 403 stainless steel at elevated temperatures. This grade retains high strength and exhibits excellent ductility over the temperature range from room temperature to 1200 F. Special Genco provides excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation within this temperature range.
