Crucible 26-1 is a fully ferritic, titanium-stabilized, high-chromium stainless steel characterized by outstanding resistance to pitting and stress corrosion in chloride-containing environments. The steel is weldable and very resistant to intergranular corrosion after welding. It is produced by electric-furnace melting and AOD (Argon-Oxygen Deoxidation) refining.
