ALLEGHENY METAL 25-20B is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel with the highest oxidation resistance of any of the chromium-nickel steels. It has been developed from AISI 310 by raising the silicon content in order to improve the resistance to oxidation and the resistance to carburization.
