PROJECT '70 182-FM is a ferritic free-machining stainless steel designed to have machinability approaching that of AISI Type 416 stainless steel with corrosion resistance comparable to AISI Type 303 stainless steel. It is ideally suited for automatic screw machines and can be used for many of the same applications as Type 303.
