JESSOP JS904L is a fully austenitic, low-carbon, chromium-nickel stainless steel with additions of molybdenum and copper. It offers excellent corrosion resistance in a variety of difficult applications where the service life offered by standard stainless steels is not satisfactory. It has very low carbon content for good resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding or stress relieving. Typical applications include pulp and paper plants and flue gas desulfurication scrubbers.
