Since 1952, Alloy Digest has been the leading reference for materials property data on metals and alloys used throughout the world. Featuring graphs, charts and tables, these sheets give facts and figures on composition or characterization, physical and mechanical properties, heat treatment, and machinability.

NICROFER 3127 LC is a fully austenitic extra-low-carbon stainless steel to which has been added approximately 3% molybdenum and 1% copper. It is characterized by (1) Good resistance to general corrosion, (2) Excellent resistance to pitting, crevice and intergranular corrosion and to stress-corrosion cracking, and (3) Good mechanical properties. Its many uses include equipment for producing phosphoric acid by the wet method, equipment for handling sulfuric acid contaminated with chlorides, handling seawater and use in deep sour gas wells.
