VASCO 734 is a precipitation hardening stainless maraging steel. Its corrosion resistance in marine atmosphere is comparable to that of AISI Type 430 ferritic stainless steel. Its low predictable shrinkage reduces post-age machining and eliminates rejected parts due to warpage in heat treatment. The steel is produced by high quality vacuum melting.
