Uranus 35N is a duplex stainless steel with a microstructure consisting of austenite and ferrite close to 50/50. It has corrosion resistance and strength better than type 304 stainless steel. Applications include pressure vessels for weight savings and where more resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking is needed.
