Tristelle alloy TS-2 is an alloy of 35Cr-10Ni-12Co developed to withstand both corrosion and galling. This alloy relies on the formation of chromium-rich carbides during solidification. It is the intermediate carbon content alloy in this family, (See Alloy Digest SS-662 and SS-672) and is recommended for valve service.
