CORRAX is a precipitation-hardening (PH) stainless mold steel that may be used for many demanding applications. Its superior resistance to corrosion, combined with a hardness of up to 50 HRC, makes it well suited for molds making medical parts, all molds running in a clean-room environment, parts made of corrosive plastics (such as polyvinyl chloride, PVC), and molds for parts made of rubber.
