View Sample Alloy Digest Data Sheet (PDF)

Since 1952, Alloy Digest has been the leading reference for materials property data on metals and alloys used throughout the world. Featuring graphs, charts and tables, these sheets give facts and figures on composition or characterization, physical and mechanical properties, heat treatment, and machinability.

RMI 40 is a grade of commercially pure unalloyed titanium. It has a guaranteed minimum yield strength of 40,000 psi with good ductility and formability. Its strength is about the same as that of the annealed austenitic stainless steels. It has good impact properties at low temperatures and excellent resistance to corrosion by marine atmospheres and seawater.
