RMI 6A1-6V-2Sn is an alpha-beta titanium alloy that provides a tensile strength of 150,000 psi in the mill-annealed condition in section sizes up to 2 inches. It offers good corrosion resistance in applications requiring high strength-to-weight ratios at temperatures up to 750 F. Among its uses are rocket engine cases and ordnance components.
