View Sample Alloy Digest Data Sheet (PDF)

Since 1952, Alloy Digest has been the leading reference for materials property data on metals and alloys used throughout the world. Featuring graphs, charts and tables, these sheets give facts and figures on composition or characterization, physical and mechanical properties, heat treatment, and machinability.

RMI Beta C is a heat-treatable titanium-base alloy that develops a tensile strength of over 200,000 psi in the solution-treated-and-aged condition. It has good ductility and toughness, good fabricability and a low elastic modulus. It has good resistance to general corrosion and it resists hot, aggressive environments containing ferric chloride, sodium chloride, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide. Its applications include coil springs, fasteners, rivets and downhole oil-production equipment.
