LUMDIE is a tungsten-chromium hot work steel recommended for die casting dies, forging and extrusion dies. It is an air hardening steel having high temperature properties and heat resistance. It is particularly suited for long run die casting dies, brass forging dies, and for various extrusion tools such as dummy blocks, dies, and mandrels.
