Carpenter T-K is a tungsten-chromium type hot-work steel having good red-hardness and resistance to abrasion. It will withstand high operating temperatures up to 1000 F for long periods. It is recommended for hot shear blades, forging and extrusion dies, hot compression tools, and similar applications where high compressive strength and wear resistance at elevated temperatures are required.
