SAGAMORE is a 5% chromium air-hardening die steel that is less expensive than the high-carbon, high-chromium types. It has excellent non-deforming properties and is tougher than most cold-work die steels. It is recommended for applications requiring a good combination of toughness, wear resistance and machinability.
