Since 1952, Alloy Digest has been the leading reference for materials property data on metals and alloys used throughout the world. Featuring graphs, charts and tables, these sheets give facts and figures on composition or characterization, physical and mechanical properties, heat treatment, and machinability.

CRUCIBLE CPM 10V is a unique tool steel made by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process. It is designed with a tough, air-hardening base analysis with added high carbon and vanadium. This provides CPM 10V with a combination of exceptionally good wear resistance, toughness and strength for cold and warm-work applications. It is an excellent candidate to replace carbide and other highly wear-resistant materials in cold-work tooling applications, particularly where tool breakage or chipping is a problem or where cost effectiveness can be demonstrated.
