UHB SVERKER 21 is a high-carbon, high-chromium cold-work tool steel alloyed with molybdenum and vanadium. It has high hardenability and high surface hardness after hardening. It has excellent wear resistance and high compressive strength along with moderate toughness (shock resistance). This steel also is characterized by excellent stability (safety) in hardening and good resistance to tempering. Its many applications include a wide range of cold-working dies, cold-heading tools, gages, knurling tools and shears.
