VASCO M-30 is a high-speed tool steel containing nominally 8.70% molybdenum and 4.75% cobalt. It provides long life in machining difficult-to-cut metals, such as heat-resisting alloys and super-alloys. It is recommended for cutting tools requiring a good combination of suitable toughness with optimum cutting qualities. Typical applications of VASCO M-30 comprise milling cutters, broaches, drills, hobs, turning tools and dies.
