1.1 This specification establishes the requirements for copper-zinc-silicon alloy rod produced in Copper Alloy UNS Nos. C69240, C69300, C69400, C69410, C69430, C69700, C69710, and C69850.

1.2 Units-The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system are not necessarily exact equivalents; therefore, to ensure conformance with the standard, each system shall be used independently of the other, and values from the two systems shall not be combined.
