1.1 This specification covers the requirements for rod in diameters from ¹/₄ in. to 1³/₈ in. (6.4 mm to 35 mm) produced from high conductivity coppers listed in Table 1, namely, electrolytic tough-pitch, oxygen-free, or fire-refined high conductivity coppers, and are suitable for further fabrication into electrical conductors.
