1.1 This specification covers bare round copper-clad aluminum wire for electrical applications.

1.2 Four classes of copper-clad aluminum wire are covered as follows:
Class 10A-Nominal 10 volume % copper, annealed.
Class 15A-Nominal 15 volume % copper, annealed.
Class 10H-Nominal 10 volume % copper, hard-drawn.
Class 15H-Nominal 15 volume % copper, hard-drawn.
