1.1.1 The term rubber, used within this method, shall refer to those substances classified as thermoplastic elastomers, vulcanized (thermoset) rubber, elastomeric materials, and cellular materials.

1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
