1.1 This test method is an index test used to measure the force required to puncture a geotextile and geotextile-related products with a 50 mm diameter cylindrical probe. The dimensions of the probe provide a multidirectional force on the geotextile. Note 1: This test is also commonly known as CBR Puncture Test. 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard.
