1.1 This test method covers a procedure for determining the filterability of aviation turbine fuels.

Note 1 - ASTM specification fuels falling within the scope of this test method are Specificationd D 1655 and D6615 and the military fuels covered in the military specifications listed in 2.2.

1.2 This test method is not applicable to fuels that contain undissolved water.
