1.1 This specification covers polyamide (PA) butt fusion fittings for use with polyamide pipe (IPS and Metric) and tubing (CTS). Included are requirements for materials, workmanship, dimensions, marking, sustained pressure, and burst pressure. 1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard.
