This document details comprehensive NIIF recommended ISUP Compatibility Tests to verify the compatibility of two networks during interconnection. This document provides a recommended minimum set of script-driven and manually interactive tests for compatibility of the network elements during interconnection. Perform these compatibility tests after interconnected network element tests for conformance to applicable standards are completed. The test message sequence and expected test results described are applicable to interconnecting trunk groups FG-D type interconnections and can accommodate wireline to wireless, LEC to LEC interconnections. Where applicable, this document may address NGN aspects.
