This standard specifies the service capabilities of the Call Park service within the context of an Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN). Call Park is a Circuit-Switched service that allows a user to interrupt a voice or voice-band data communication on an existing call, and then re-establish communications from the same or different terminal equipment within the same Call Park subscriber group. The associated switching, signaling specification, subscription options, and interactions with services defined in other American National Standard are also provided. Formerly known as T1.653-1996(R2005).
