Purpose and Scope of Document This document is intended to serve as a program management guide for the development of Personal Communication standards. The document has several objectives with regard to Personal Communications: - Assist T1P1.1 in its program management functions, - Guide T1P1.2 and T1P1.3 in developing high level standards, - Indicate the areas of standardization which are needed and the standards bodies responsible, - Provide agreed upon schedules and priorities for the development of standards and - Provide Committee T1 and the telecommunications industry with a means for tracking the status of standards development.
