This Standard is to be used in conjunction with AWPA C1: All Timber Products Preservative Treatiment by Pressure Processes and AWPA M2: Standard for Inspection of Treated Timber Products. C1 and M2 are hereby made a part of this Standard. This Standard covers the treatment of glue-laminated utility poles. For the treatment of other structural glue-laminated commodities refer to AWPA C28. Structural glue laminated timber is an engineered, stress-rated product comprised of assemblies of specifically selected and prepared wood laminates bonded with adhesives.
