Scope: This AWPA E15-17 method tests the effectiveness of remedial preservative formulations containing diffusible or volatile components to control fungal decay inside large poles and timbers. Preservatives which would not be expected to migrate longitudinally for a minimum of 40 mm at fungi-toxic levels should not be evaluated by this procedure. This test method is intended to be a screening test.
