Scope
This method covers the evaluation of natural decay resistance
of wood, but may also be used to evaluate the resistance of
other wood-based materials to degradation by wooddestroying
fungi. AWPA-E10 shall be used for wood products
treated with a wood preservative or modified through other
means. This standard does not purport to address all of the
safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the
responsibility of the user of this standard to establish
appropriate safety and health practices and determine the
applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
