The object of this glossary is to make available to members of the Association and to others interested in treated wood, a standard set of definitions of those terms used commonly in the wood preserving industry. Definitions involving pertinent timber products are included. Words to be found in any authoritative dictionary are generally omitted except when they have a special application in modern wood-preserving practice.
