The last two years have brought a number of legislative and regulatory changes at the local, state,
and federal level that will have a very positive impact on water efficiency in the future. Several
of these regulations have been summarized in this paper and include: Maryland Clean Energy Incentive Act; proposed changes in tier levels for clothes washers; Seattle Energy Code Requiring Efficient Commercial Clothes Washers and Limiting Single Pass Cooling; Texas SB2; and, Seattle "Everyone Can Conserve" Rate Structure and Low Income Program. The texts of several of the regulations
along with additional supporting materials are included as appendices. Includes 5 references, tables, figures, appendices.
