This slide presentation outlines information on a project by the Orlando Utilities Commission that had the following objectives: to perform and learn the new International Water Association/American Water Works Association (IWA/AWWA) recommended water audit methodology; to use the new independent audit to help support responses to media and water management districts; and, to determine the need for a leak survey. The project scope includes: AWWA/IWA recommended methodology; flow testing of system inputs (WTP meters); analysis of customer meter accuracy; analysis of any billing data handling errors; assessment of various unmeasured uses; determination of performance indicators (real and apparent losses); "bottom-up" night flow analysis and pressure step test; and, Break and Background Estimates (BABE) component analysis.
