The Shoal Creek Filter Plant in Gwinnett County, Georgia, that used the Lanier Community Outreach and Liaison Community outreach plan through 3+ years of construction. Special events for Shoal Creek, planning for all the events, media day, formal dedication, community open house are outlined. The second case study involved the Hickory Log Creek Dam and Reservoir in Canton, Georgia and was organized as a joint effort between the City of Canton and Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority. The Community-Wide Project Kickoff Event, Theme and Messages for the Dam and Reservoir, project logo, and pre-kickoff and kickoff activities are outlined.
