This slide presentation outlines a study to investigate hexavalent chromium
as a future regulated drinking
water contaminant that included:
a national occurrence survey;
treatment technology assessments;
treatment cost development; and,
regulatory development assessment. The Regulatory Development Assessment included
two points:
a cumulative risk discussion, presenting a
case study using national occurrence data; and, Safe Drinking Water Amendment
(SDWA) evaluation and analysis, including a
discussion of cumulative risk and cumulative
cost. Includes figures.
