This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the American Recovery and Reinvestment
Act. Special wrinkles of Recovery Act project awards are presented. States administer their State Revolving Fund (SRF) base programs
differently and they are also managing
Recovery Funds differently. This is a unique opportunity to highlight the magnitude of the nation's drinking
water infrastructure needs, to demonstrate our ability to effectively use
additional funding and thereby form a stronger
basis for increased and sustained infrastructure
financing, and to address some of the neediest infrastructure
projects by offering generous finance terms
including substantial subsidies. Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) re-authorization topics are presented.
