This powerpoint presentation presents the AWWA Cal/Nevada Section's involvement with
outreach programs, including water fair programs and ROP programs. The purpose of water fair programs is to promote the importance of drinking
water to high school students in the
chosen area, and water fairs have been incorporated into the section's conferences. The ROP program is a high school outreach program that offers a one month class on water basics and water distribution at the high school level. Successes and challenges of the ROP program are listed.
