AWWA B511-96 PDF

This standard covers potassium hydroxide (KOH), dry and liquid, for water supply service application. The purpose of this standard is to provide the minimum requirements for potassium hydroxide, including physical, chemical, packaging, shipping, and testing requirements. The major revisions in this edition of ANSI/AWWA B511-96 include the following: the format has been changed to AWWA standard style; and, the acceptance clause (Sec. I.C) has been revised to approved wording.

The addendum to ANSI/AWWA B511-96 Standard for Potassium Hydroxide revises or replaces Page v, Sec. I.C; Page vii, Sec. III.A; and Page 3, Sec. 4.3.
