AWWA B550-96 PDF

This standard covers calcium chloride (CaCl2), in the form of powder, pellet, granule, flake, or briquette for use in water supply treatment. The main purpose of this standard is to provide the minimum requirements for calcium chloride, including physical, chemical, packaging, shipping, and testing requirements. The major revisions in this edition of B550-96 include the following: the format has been changed to AWWA standard style; and, the acceptance clause (Sec. I.C) and the definitions of parties (Sec. 3) have been revised to approved wording.

The addendum to ANSI/AWWA B550-96 Standard for Calcium Chloride revises or replaces Page v, Sec. I.C; Page vii, Sec. III.A; and Page 3, Sec. 4.3.
