This standard describes copper sulfate for use in the treatment of municipal and industrial water supplies. The standard discusses general procedural issues, such as affidavit of compliance and basis for rejection; storage, handling, and disposal considerations; physical and chemical requirements; sampling and inspection, packaging and shipping, and marking; and testing methods.
Major changes made to the standard in this revision include the following: the section on Notice of Nonconformance (5.7.1) has been revised to approved wording.
