To improve the efficient use of water resources, some semiconductor manufacturersare reclaiming wastewater. It is anticipated that more will do so in the future,as manufacturers and communities work together to improve the efficient usage ofwater resources. This paper summarizes the operation of a plant in Chandler, Arizona, and compares the water quality of the recharged water to monitoring wells. Acomparison of over 100 water quality parameters indicates that the injection oftreated water improves or does not significantly change the quality of theaquifer. Includes 5 references, tables, figures.
