This standard describes the design, fabrication, installation, inspection, and testing of bolted aboveground thermosetting fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) panel-type tanks for potable water storage. Requirements for the fabrication, handling, construction, and testing of FRP panels, concrete and steel foundation structure, foundation, and accessories are included. Site elevation and procurement, tank sizing; post-commissioning inspection and maintenance; and the design, operation, and control of the water distribution system that connects to the bolted aboveground FRP panel-type tank are beyond the scope of this standard. This is the first edition of the standard and there are no major revisions.
